Clip one end into the hair at each temple, run the band across the back of the head under the top layer, and adjust the slider until it sits snugly, then let the hair fall over it. They are a styling trick used with wigs, ponytails and updos for a smoother look at the temples. The long band is 18 cm and the short bands 11 cm, both 1.5 cm wide.
