This one twists open, takes your own pool tablets, and bobs about with a 5 inch blue and white body. A ring of vents at the bottom sets how much water flows past the tablets, so you can dial it down for a small pool or spa. Never mix chlorine and bromine in the same floating chlorine dispenser, as the chemicals can react dangerously.

Is the floating dispenser safe around swimmers?
Take the floating chlorine dispenser out before anyone swims. Children may treat it as a toy, and the tablets inside can burn skin and eyes and are poisonous if swallowed.

How do I handle the tablets safely?
Wear gloves when you refill, work in open air, and do not breathe in the fumes when you open the lid. Keep tablets dry, locked away from children and pets, and test the water regularly.

Does this dispenser work in a small pool?
It can, but start with the vents almost closed and check levels.
