Guitarists, climbers and anyone who types all day use a finger strength trainer like this to work each finger separately against a stretch. Slip your fingers through the five tapered silicone loops, fasten the strap at the wrist, and open your hand against the pull. The strap slides to one of three marked steps, so each band gives three levels: 6.6, 8.8 and 11 lb on the light bands, or 13, 17 and 21 lb on the heavy ones. It is part of our Sports & Outdoor collection.

Frequently asked questions
Which finger strength trainer should a beginner choose?
A beginner should start with a Gray or Green finger strength trainer, which runs from 6.6 to 11 lb. Move up to the Black or Pink heavy band when the 11 lb setting feels easy.
Can a finger strength trainer help arthritis or a hand injury?
We make no medical claims for this finger strength trainer. If you have arthritis, an injury or recent surgery, ask your doctor or physical therapist before using it, and stop if you feel pain, numbness or tingling.
How long should I use the finger trainer?
Start the finger trainer with short sets of a few minutes and rest between them, since tendons need time to adapt. Do not use it to the point of pain, and take it off before your fingers feel numb.
