Pizza stones, griddles and engine parts are too hot to touch, so this infrared thermometer gun reads their surface from a distance with a pull of the trigger. Two models differ in top range: TS380 reaches 380°C (716°F) and TS600 reaches 600°C (1022°F), both starting at -50°C. A laser dot shows where you are aiming, and you can add a zip carry case to either one. It reads surfaces only, so it is no use for checking a fever. It is part of our Electronics collection.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use this infrared thermometer on a person?
No. This infrared thermometer gun is a surface tool for objects, and it is not a medical thermometer. Use a thermometer made for people to check a body temperature.
Is the laser on the infrared thermometer gun safe for eyes?
Never point the laser at eyes, people or pets, or at mirrors and shiny metal that could reflect it. Keep the infrared thermometer gun away from children, because it is a tool and not a toy.
Why does my infrared thermometer read shiny metal or water wrong?
Infrared readings depend on the surface. Shiny metal reflects heat and steam can confuse the reading, so adjust the emissivity or use a probe when the exact number matters, and never use this as your only food safety check.
Which infrared thermometer model should I choose?
TS380 reads to 380°C (716°F), which covers most cooking and household jobs. TS600 reaches 600°C (1022°F) for pizza ovens and hotter metal work.
