This key fob button pad is a black 3-button rubber insert that replaces worn, split or sticky buttons on a round-top remote car key, so all three remote buttons press cleanly again. It is the rubber part only: your key case, blade and electronics stay as they are. It is part of our Automobile collection.
Compatible with BMW E38, E39, E36, E46 and Z3 3-button remote keys.

Frequently asked questions
Is this key fob button pad a complete key shell?
No, the photos show the 3-button rubber key fob button pad on its own; you keep your existing key case, blade and electronics and swap only the worn rubber buttons.
Which cars does the key fob button pad fit?
The key fob button pad is listed as compatible with BMW E38, E39, E36, E46 and Z3 3-button remote keys of the round-top style shown in the photos.
How do I fit the key fob button pad?
Open the key case, lift out the old worn rubber pad, press the new key fob button pad into the same place with the round button over the matching switch, and close the case.
Does the key fob button pad need programming?
No, the key fob button pad is only the rubber part; the remote's own circuit board and chip stay in your key, so nothing is reprogrammed.
