Frequently asked questions
How many perm rods do I get?
Each option is a pack of 50 perm rods of one size and colour; the photo showing all five sizes together is for comparison only.
Which perm rod size gives which curl?
The thinnest perm rods (0.7 cm, yellow) make the tightest curls and the thickest (2.2 cm, orange) make loose waves; 0.9, 1.5 and 1.9 cm sit in between.
How do the perm rods hold the hair?
Each of the perm rods has a rubber band with a cap; you wind the hair round the rod and stretch the band over it to hold it in place.
Can I use the perm rods without a perm solution?
Yes. The perm rods can be used on damp hair for a heat-free set; if you use them with a perm solution, follow that product's instructions and do a patch test first.
